2013 IWFL Expansion Team

The Nor Cal Red Hawks, a sixxes team in the 2010 and 2011 seasons, will be re-locating to Redding, Calif as an 11 man expansion team in 2013.

The Red Hawks Sixxes namesake will remain in the Sacramento area, teaching our youth and will be partnering up with Stars Sports and Educational Programs Inc.

Team Tryouts - January 7th

The Nor Cal Red Hawks will be holding team tryouts Saturday, January 7th at Mills Middle School in Rancho Cordova.

Registration will be available for sign up on December 15th.

Who: Women at least 18 years of age with proof of medical insurance.

What: Women’s full contact tackle football.

No experience needed, just a desire to learn and have fun.

Nor Cal Red Hawks Mission:
To give women the opportunity and support to gain the knowledge and skills of the game of football so that they can easily adjust to other levels of play.

The Nor Cal Red Hawks are looking for players for the 2012 season.

Training kicks off January 28th.

Who: Women at least 18 years of age with proof of medical insurance.

What: Women’s full contact tackle football.

About the Nor Cal Red Hawks:

The Nor Cal Red Hawks, a women’s six-man tackle football team in the Independent Women’s Football League (IWFL), was created for the purpose of football development in hopes that the IWFL would help to create additional teams in the league to be used as a lower division in support of the 11-man professional teams.
